Class 6 Motorcycle Training
Ride with confidence and competence. Our certified instructors prepare you for BC's ICBC motorcycle licensing — covering everything from basic controls to advanced road survival strategies.
BC Motorcycle Graduated Licensing
BC's Class 6 motorcycle license follows a graduated licensing system similar to passenger vehicles. New riders begin with a learner stage and progress to a full Class 6 after meeting requirements and passing road tests.
Class 6L — Motorcycle Learner
Available from age 16. Must pass ICBC motorcycle knowledge test. Allows supervised riding with an experienced rider (Class 6 for 2+ years). Zero BAC, daytime riding only.
Class 6N — Motorcycle Novice
After passing the motorcycle road test. Hold for minimum 24 months before full Class 6. Zero BAC, no freeway riding, no passengers, no riding between midnight and 5 AM.
Class 6 — Full Motorcycle License
Full, unrestricted motorcycle riding privileges. Can ride any motorcycle on all BC roads with no restrictions.
Eligibility
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Pass the ICBC Class 6 motorcycle knowledge test
- Hold a valid driver's license (any class)
- Appropriate motorcycle safety gear required
- Zero blood alcohol content at all times (6L & 6N)
Safety Gear Is Essential
BC law requires approved helmet use at all times. We strongly recommend full protective gear — jacket, gloves, boots, and pants — for all training sessions. Your safety is our top priority.
